24 Fairfax Schools Win Virginia’s Highest Music Honor

Twenty-four Fairfax County Public Schools earned the 2025 Virginia Music Educators Association Blue Ribbon Award for musical excellence.

Twenty-four Fairfax County Public Schools earned the 2025 Virginia Music Educators Association Blue Ribbon Award for musical excellence.

The Blue Ribbon is Virginia’s highest honor for school music programs. It recognizes exceptional performance across band, chorus, and orchestra.

To qualify, each school’s top ensemble in all three disciplines had to receive a final rating of Superior at a VMEA District Concert Performance Assessment.

The 2025 FCPS recipients are:
