Capital Bikeshare will raise prices across every membership tier beginning Aug. 1, its first price adjustment since 2021. The bike-sharing system cited record ridership growth and increasing operating expenses.

Fairfax County police also announced that an undercover investigation by the department’s Child Exploitation Unit resulted in the arrests of 16 men accused of sexually soliciting a minor. The suspects, who range in age from 20 to 65, face more than 80 felony charges combined.
