Fairfax County’s Best After-School Program Is Up for a Vote

Fairfax County families have a chance to weigh in on their favorite after-school programs, with voting open in the local Readers’ Choice Awards.

Fairfax County families have a chance to weigh in on their favorite after-school programs, with voting open in the local Readers’ Choice Awards.

The nominated programs offer students ways to spend time beyond the classroom through outdoor activities, artistic pursuits and community volunteer work. Voters may also write in a favorite if it does not appear among the listed choices.

Ballots for the Best After-School Program category will be accepted until 8:30 a.m. Friday, June 5. The voting period is scheduled to close in two weeks.

A separate contest for the Best Tutoring Service in Fairfax County remains underway. Votes in that category must be submitted by 8:30 a.m. Friday, May 29.

Results have also been finalized in an earlier vote for the Best Title Company serving Fairfax County. Federal Title & Escrow Company took the top spot, followed by Cardinal Title Group and EKKO Title.
