Falls Church resident Diana Brice has reached the Top 10 and holds first place in the 2026 Colossal Super Mom Competition, a national fundraiser benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Public voting remains open as Brice advances toward the Top 5. That round of voting began May 7, with additional rounds continuing into June and the winner expected to be announced in July.

An Air Force veteran and federal employee with a background in intelligence and security, Brice is raising two children, Emma and Liam, while balancing a demanding career and her husband Benjamin’s schedule as a pilot.

Emma, who attends Oak Street Elementary, participates in piano and soccer through the Falls Church Community Center. Liam attends Meridian High School and plays tennis. Both children recently completed basketball seasons with the community center.

Brice said becoming a mother marked the most meaningful transition of her life after working in intelligence and national security.

“While those roles protect the present, being a mom builds the future,” she said. “There is no rank more rewarding than watching your children grow into their own unique people.”

Brice entered the competition hoping to demonstrate to her children that mothers can continue pursuing ambitious goals amid careers, unpredictable schedules and the daily demands of parenting. She initially did not expect to advance so far, but community support helped carry her through the Top 20 and into the Top 10.

She described motherhood as a lesson in strength, patience and enduring love.

“It has taught me that patience isn’t just waiting — it’s finding peace in the chaos of growth,” Brice said.

If she wins, Brice said the prize would help her family establish a substantial emergency fund and give Emma and Liam more opportunities to pursue sports, music and other interests. She called the potential benefit a source of both security and opportunity for her children.

The competition also raises money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to support pediatric care nationwide. According to the campaign, the Super Mom initiative has raised more than $14.9 million.

Voting opened April 13 and is scheduled to proceed through several elimination rounds. Brice said she is grateful for the support she has received from the Falls Church community as her run continues.
