Fairfax County Public Schools is offering summer meals at no charge to children and teenagers age 18 and younger, giving families access to food throughout much of the school break.
The program requires no registration or advance sign-up. Eligible children and teens can simply visit a participating FCPS school during its scheduled meal service.
Meals are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so availability may be limited at busy locations. All food provided through the program must be eaten on-site and cannot be taken home.
Summer meal service continues through Aug. 15. Participating schools will be closed for the program on July 4.
Locations and serving times differ across the county. Families should check the FCPS Summer Meal Service Program information before visiting to confirm which schools are participating and when meals will be served.
The program is open to all children and teens who meet the age requirement, with no enrollment paperwork or other sign-up process required.
