NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman has addressed the proposed relocation of the Space Shuttle Discovery from Virginia to Texas, suggesting another spacecraft could be sent to Houston if moving Discovery proves impossible.
Isaacman, who recently became NASA administrator under President Donald Trump, told CNBC that the agency could consider an alternative spacecraft for the Johnson Space Center. The proposal to remove Discovery from its Virginia home has generated controversy.
Elsewhere in Northern Virginia, business owners at Barcroft Plaza are determining how to recover after a fire swept through the shopping center Thursday morning. The damaged businesses included a martial arts studio, swimming school and Benjamin Moore paint store.
