Afternoon tea offers a leisurely break at several venues across Northern Virginia’s Fairfax area, ranging from a cozy Vienna café to an upscale Tysons hotel.
Café Renaissance, at 163 Glyndon Street SE in Vienna, serves a selection of teas with pastries, scones and sandwiches in a setting inspired by European tea rooms. Seasonal themes and special events also make it an option for celebrations and relaxed afternoon outings.
Tea with Mrs. B, located at 136 W. Jefferson Street in Falls Church, focuses on family-friendly tea parties and workshops. Its offerings include “Manners, Tea & Craft Camps,” children’s birthday celebrations and mother-child outings.
For a more luxurious experience, the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner at 1700 Tysons Boulevard in McLean serves afternoon tea every Saturday and Sunday. Guests can enjoy canapés, scones and petit fours accompanied by live piano music, with champagne and mocktails also available.
