Sushi Ohayo is preparing to bring its expansive all-you-can-eat Japanese menu to West Falls Church, where signs for the restaurant have appeared at the Shops at West Falls Church.

The restaurant will occupy a 5,400-square-foot storefront at 7395A Route 29. The space was previously home to Saigon 1975, a Vietnamese restaurant that closed in 2020.

This will be Sushi Ohayo’s third location in the Fairfax area, following its original Chantilly restaurant and a Lorton location that opened in December 2023.

Sushi Ohayo offers an all-you-can-eat menu priced at $25.99 per adult. Diners can choose from 110 items, including more than 60 sushi selections and 15 hibachi, yakisoba and fried rice entrees.

An additional $6 per person adds unlimited sashimi, with 15 varieties of thinly sliced raw fish available.

An opening date has not been announced. Fairfax County issued a sign permit late last month, but no permanent sign had been installed as of last week. The status of the planned commercial, plumbing and interior construction work also remains unclear.

A permit application filed in November indicates that the restaurant plans to serve lunch and dinner daily once it opens.
