Ann Wilson has helped clients buy and sell homes across Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C., since 2004, building a career that has brought repeated industry recognition and an expanding Arlington-based team.
Licensed in Virginia and the District, Wilson is an associate broker with GRI, ABR, CRS, CLHS and EcoBroker designations. The Certified Residential Specialist credential is awarded to experienced residential sales professionals.
Before entering real estate, Wilson served as director of marketing and communications for one of the nation’s largest law firms. That experience shaped the strategic approach she now uses to market homes and communicate with clients.
Wilson was named a best Realtor by Washingtonian and Northern Virginia Magazine each year from 2015 through 2024. Virginia Living recognized her annually from 2018 through 2024, as did Arlington Magazine. She also received RealTrends recognition in 2021 and 2023.
Her additional honors include membership in the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors’ Life Top Producers Club and recognition as a 2023 Diamond Club Top Producer.
A family-connected real estate team
Wilson leads Ann Wilson Homes, a team serving Arlington, Falls Church, McLean and other communities across the Washington metropolitan area.
Sean Wilson joined the business as a licensed Virginia real estate agent in 2020. A longtime Northern Virginia resident, he became familiar with the industry while accompanying his mother during the early years of her business. Keller Williams Metro Center named him its Rookie of the Year in 2021.
Chelsea Edwards has worked with the team since 2015 as its marketing and administrative manager. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Christopher Newport University and is also a licensed Virginia Realtor.
Nancy, the team’s director of marketing, develops property descriptions by speaking with clients about their homes and the experiences they associate with them.
Deep roots in Arlington
Wilson became active in Arlington after moving to the county as a young adult. Her community work has included volunteering at a local hospital, participating in Leadership Arlington’s Class of 2012 and serving as a civic association president and an Arlington Public Schools PTA president.
She was also named an Arlington Honored Citizen. Wilson and her husband live in Arlington, where their children attended public schools.
The team works in neighborhoods including Ballston and Boulevard Manor, as well as elsewhere in Arlington and Northern Virginia. One coming-soon property in Arlington’s 22207 ZIP code is expected to enter the market in 2026 for $1.8 million. The three-level Craftsman-style house has four bedrooms, 4½ bathrooms and a detached one-car garage.
Wilson says the team’s approach centers on honest guidance, knowledge of local neighborhoods and market conditions, and helping clients make decisions suited to their families.
