Capital One Center is planning the second annual Celebration of the Arts for September 19–20, bringing a free outdoor festival across its 35-acre Tysons campus.
The festival runs from noon to 6 p.m. on September 19 and noon to 5 p.m. on September 20 at the development at 1820 Capital One Drive South.
“We are thrilled to welcome the community to Capital One Center for this significant festival, which celebrates experiential art and the spirit of Tysons,” said Steve Stavropoulos, the center’s managing director.
The event will feature workshops, live performances, children’s activities, food and drinks for purchase, and an artisan market. Returning attractions include the Battle of the Artists competition, live music, and craft workshops.
New for 2026 are Art Bark, a pop-up space for dogs and their humans; a Kids Park; and other activities at Metro Park. Capital One Center staff and Capital One Arts are organizing the festival in partnership with the Tephra Institute of Contemporary Art.
The expansion into newer spaces reflects a broader effort to increase street-level activity. “With our kids’ park across the street, we’re starting to make connections to the other spaces outside of Capital One Center that are newer to our project,” said Erin Mical, Capital One vice president of global workplace services.
Advance registration is available at no charge through Eventbrite. As of late July, organizers had not released the complete lineup of performers and participating artists.
