Capital One Center’s Culinary Week will return to Tysons from July 27-31, bringing five days of cooking classes, chef and cocktail competitions, demonstrations and special dining events to the headquarters campus.

The second annual celebration will also offer a preview of La Omri, a Mediterranean restaurant expected to open later this year.

Proceeds from tickets to seven scheduled events will benefit World Central Kitchen, the Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit founded by chef José Andrés. The organization provides meals to communities affected by disasters and humanitarian crises in the United States and abroad.

Last year’s inaugural Culinary Week raised more than $10,000 for the nonprofit.

Participating businesses this year include Wren and Naisho Room at The Watermark Hotel, Stellina Pizzeria, Ometeo, Perch Putt’s Rhum Roost tiki bar, Starr Hill Brewpub, Sisters Thai and Flore Cafe, Wegmans and La Omri.

Early-bird prices are available through July 17. Organizers are encouraging guests to buy tickets early because strong interest is expected.
