Centreville’s Growth and Transit Future Take Center Stage Feb. 7

Centreville’s transportation, development and public facilities will be in focus during the State of Centreville event Friday, Feb. 7, at the Chantilly National Golf and Country Club.

Centreville’s transportation, development and public facilities will be in focus during the State of Centreville event Friday, Feb. 7, at the Chantilly National Golf and Country Club.

The Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce will present the program at 14901 Braddock Road in Centreville. According to the most recent census, Centreville is Fairfax County’s most populated area and is home to the headquarters of several nationally recognized businesses.

The event will include updates on possible future Orange Line Metro stops, improvements to Centreville Regional Library, potential land-use changes, bicycle and pedestrian projects, and the county’s Centreville Task Force.

Networking and a continental breakfast begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by the program at 9 a.m. Fairfax County Supervisor Kathy Smith, who represents the Sully District, will deliver the keynote address.

Admission is $20, and advance registration is required through the event organizer.
