Cherry blossom season is spreading beyond Washington’s famous trees as Fairfax County restaurants roll out limited-time drinks, desserts and savory dishes.

The seasonal lineup includes cherry-inspired cocktails, chocolate, popcorn, churros, sushi and even a tart sour beer. Some specials run only through mid-April.

Burke

Bunnyman Brewing Co. collaborated with Mustang Sally Brewing Co. on a Tart Cherry Toasted Coconut Oatmeal Cookie Inspired Sour. The brewery is at 5583 Guinea Road.

Chantilly

River Sea Chocolates is serving cherry blossom-inspired hot chocolate alongside three specialty chocolate bars at 4520 Daly Drive, Suite 100.

Mustang Sally Brewing Co. is also offering its collaborative Tart Cherry Toasted Coconut Oatmeal Cookie Inspired Sour at 14140 Parke Long Court, units A-C.

Fair Oaks

Ocean Paradise has created a specialty cocktail combining cherry, Chambord, pineapple juice and lemon. The seafood restaurant is at 3903-I Fair Ridge Drive.

Falls Church

Jake’s Gourmet Popcorn is selling Cherry with Chocolate Drizzle and Cherry Cheesecake popcorn through mid-April at 6328 Seven Corners Center.

Herndon

GreenFare is offering a fully organic Cherry Pistachio Bar through April 13. The vegan restaurant is at 408 Elden Street.

Merrifield

AKB at Archer Hotel is serving a Cherry Blossom Cocktail made with ingredients including strawberry lemongrass and rosé. It is located at 7599 Colshire Drive.

Urbano’s spring menu features Cherry Blossom Churros through April 13 at 2985 District Avenue, Unit 120.

Reston

Davio’s is offering the Davio in Bloom, a cocktail with cherry flavors and floral notes, through mid-April. The Northern Italian steakhouse is at 1902 Reston Metro Plaza.

River Sea Chocolates is selling Rose Petal Milk Chocolate, Cherry Blossom Milk Chocolate and Cherry Blossom Dark Chocolate bars at 11495 Sunset Hills Road.

Tysons

Barrel and Bushel is participating in the Cherry Picks program with dishes including Braised Pork Belly and a Snow Crab Cocktail dressed with cherry vinaigrette. The restaurant is at 7901 Tysons One Place.

Wren has introduced several seasonal selections, including a Futomaki sushi roll, Yoshino specialty cocktail and cherry blossom milk pudding topped with cherry blossom jelly. The Japanese restaurant is at 1825 Capital One Drive South.

RollBär at Shipgarten offers its Japanese Gin Blossom Cocktail throughout the year. The drink features a house-made cherry blossom sweetener and is available at 7581 Colshire Drive.
