Tysons Corner Center is welcoming spring with Easter Bunny photo sessions, dance parties and cherry blossom celebrations tied to the National Cherry Blossom Festival.

The Washington, D.C., festival runs from March 20 through April 12, while seasonal programming at the mall will continue into mid-April.

The Easter Bunny will greet families in Fashion Court from March 6 through April 4.

Pets can join the photo sessions during Pet Night on Monday, March 16. A sensory-friendly Bunny Cares event is scheduled for March 22.

New this year are Kidz Bop Bunny Dance Parties, which will begin at the top of every hour and feature energetic music with simple dance moves for children.

Reservations are encouraged to shorten wait times, though walk-ins will be accepted.

Cherry blossom specials fill the mall

The Center in Bloom campaign will run from March 20 through April 17, bringing spring-themed shopping, dining and in-store activities to Tysons Corner Center.

About 40 retailers and restaurants—and counting—will offer cherry blossom-inspired, pink or seasonal products and menu items. Participating businesses will be marked with pink petal decals.

Blossom Bash takes over PenFed Plaza

Blossom Bash, an official National Cherry Blossom Festival event, will be held outdoors from noon to 4 p.m. on March 29.

The one-day celebration will include a retail market, live entertainment, giveaways, interactive activities and a live chalk art competition organized by ArtsFairfax. In recognition of the United States’ 250th anniversary, artists will focus on American plants, animals and landscapes.

Tysons Corner Center and PenFed Credit Union will also organize a flower garden planting on PenFed Plaza. Visitors can participate in the planting and receive giveaways, while PenFed members who present an email invitation or a PenFed debit or credit card will receive a VIP gift.
