At least eight former Flint Hill boys varsity basketball players are competing at the college level, led by St. Bonaventure University graduate student Noel Brown.

The 6-foot-11 Brown has started all 16 games for the Division I program and ranks third on the team with 12.6 points per game. He is also averaging 4.6 rebounds and has recorded 10 assists, nine blocks and eight steals.

Before joining St. Bonaventure, Brown appeared in 64 games across three seasons at Division I George Washington University. He has scored 584 career points between the two schools.

Chicago State University junior guard Saxby Sunderland is another former Husky playing Division I basketball. The 6-foot-4 Sunderland has averaged 6.2 points and 2.8 rebounds through 17 games, adding 28 assists, 13 steals and seven three-pointers.

At Loyola University Maryland, 6-foot-8 sophomore wing Matt Gray has scored six points in five appearances for the Division I team.

Junior forward Reis Jones and freshman forward Quin Gorman are also continuing their careers. Jones, a 6-foot-10 player for Division I Florida Southwestern State College, has appeared in 17 games and averages 6.1 points and 5.6 rebounds. He has blocked 15 shots and collected five steals.

Gorman, a 6-foot-8 forward at Stony Brook University in New York, has scored 13 points and grabbed 12 rebounds over nine games.

At the Division III level, Stevenson University junior guard Ronald Ayers has started 11 games. The 6-foot-3 Ayers is averaging 11.7 points and 4.1 rebounds while contributing 17 three-pointers, 17 assists and eight steals.

Flint Hill graduates Jack O’Grady and Nate Pabis are playing for Division III programs as well. O’Grady, a 6-foot-4 junior forward at Elmira College in New York, has appeared in 10 games, averaging 2.4 points while totaling 24 rebounds, nine assists and four steals.

Pabis, a 6-foot-6 sophomore forward at Amherst College in Massachusetts, has played in nine games and scored 15 points.
