Fairfax County residents are being asked to choose the area’s best mortgage lender as rising housing costs make the path to homeownership increasingly difficult.
The Readers’ Choice Awards poll features a slate of nominated lenders, while voters can also write in a favorite business that does not appear among the listed choices. Voting will remain open until 8:30 a.m. Friday, June 19.
Another poll seeking the best summer activities in Fairfax County is also underway. Ballots in that category must be submitted by 8:30 a.m. Friday, June 12.
Meanwhile, the results of the earlier vote for Fairfax County’s best after-school program have been finalized. U.S. Arts Center finished first, followed by Fairfax County Public Schools’ after-school programs. McLean’s Old Firehouse Center placed third.
The mortgage lender poll is the latest in the series of local awards highlighting businesses, programs and activities selected by Fairfax County readers.
