Fairfax County residents can now vote for the area’s best summer activity as pools open, outdoor concerts prepare to begin and the longest days of the year approach.
The poll is part of a local Readers’ Choice Awards program highlighting seasonal activities across the county. Voters can select from the nominated options or submit a write-in choice if their favorite activity is missing.
Voting will remain open for two weeks and is scheduled to close at 8:30 a.m. Friday, June 12.
A separate vote for Fairfax County’s best after-school program is also underway. That poll closes one week earlier, at 8:30 a.m. Friday, June 5.
Results have also been finalized in the earlier poll for the county’s best tutoring service. Principia Education finished first, followed by Kumon Math and Reading Center in second place and Mathnasium in third.
