A rare autographed gold record of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” will headline a breast cancer fundraiser and auction Oct. 30 at High Side Restaurant & Bar in Fairfax.

The Pink Wave Happy Hour and Auction will run from 6 to 8 p.m. at 4009 Chain Bridge Road, next to Mara Hair and Mode Studio. The Dolly Parton auction is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Guests can also enter raffles for baskets featuring more than a dozen prizes donated by Fairfax businesses, including Mode on Main by Mara Boutique, Lucy Loves, Ace Hardware, eXcurb Fitness, Redwood K-Wellness and Commonwealth Brewing.

Tickets cost $10 and include one drink. High Side will donate a portion of drink sales to the breast cancer awareness campaign. Space is limited.

Mara Hair and Mode Studio has supported the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation through its annual Pink Wave Campaign for seven years, raising thousands of dollars for Virginians affected by breast cancer. The salon collected $7,577.99 in 2024 and has set an $8,000 goal for this year’s campaign.
