Fairfax County Public Schools’ comprehensive boundary review moved closer to completion during a Nov. 24 advisory committee meeting at the Gatehouse Administration Center.

Superintendent Michelle C. Reid and Erik Gordon, chief of Facilities Services and Capital Programs, welcomed members of the Superintendent’s Boundary Review Advisory Committee and thanked them for continuing the review process.

A consultant summarized the committee’s work so far and outlined the remaining timeline as the review enters its final stages.

Committee members then met in regional working groups to examine and discuss suggested changes developed after Scenario 4. Representatives from each region reported their key discussion points and feedback before participating in a question-and-answer session.

FCPS staff closed the meeting by thanking committee members for their continued work. Meeting agendas, committee materials, information about the comprehensive boundary review and newsletter registration are available through the school system’s website.
