Fredericksburg motorcyclist killed in Fairfax Station collision

A 39-year-old Fredericksburg resident died after her motorcycle collided with an SUV at the intersection of Ox Road and Chapel Road in Fairfax Station, according to Fairfax County police.

A 39-year-old Fredericksburg resident died after her motorcycle collided with an SUV at the intersection of Ox Road and Chapel Road in Fairfax Station, according to Fairfax County police.

Police responded at approximately 7:13 p.m. to the collision. Jennifer Hollingsworth was riding a 2025 Suzuki GSXR 750 northbound on Ox Road when the motorcycle struck a 2021 Buick Enclave, police said.

The Buick was turning left from southbound Ox Road onto eastbound Chapel Road when the collision occurred. Hollingsworth was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Buick was not injured and remained at the scene, police said. Investigators did not believe alcohol was a factor for that driver.

The Fairfax County Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit was investigating whether speed or alcohol played a role in the collision. Police had not announced a final determination about fault or whether either factor contributed to the crash.
