The bright-pink Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will return to Tysons Corner Center this weekend with anniversary merchandise, collectibles and sweets.

The truck is scheduled to open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at the mall’s Events Plaza, 1961 Chain Bridge Road.

This year marks the traveling cafe’s 10th anniversary, while Sanrio is celebrating 50 years of the Hello Kitty character.

The truck has become an annual March attraction at Tysons Corner Center. More than 100 people have said they plan to attend the upcoming visit on its Facebook event page, with another 659 expressing interest.

Organizers say the stops attract both loyal customers who return each year and newcomers discovering the truck for the first time. Hello Kitty’s anniversary has also brought multiple generations of fans together during the truck’s travels across the United States.

Limited-edition offerings planned for the Tysons stop include iridescent totes and hoodies commemorating Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary, along with ringer tees and lilac tees.

Collectibles will include ceramic mugs, thermal bottles, 10th-anniversary keychains, pins and cup ornaments. The menu of packaged treats will feature giant chef cookies, five-piece macaron sets and Madeleine cookie sets.
