The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will return to Tysons Corner Center on Saturday, March 28, bringing limited-edition collectibles and sweets to a stop that has already attracted more than 900 Facebook RSVPs.

The mobile pop-up will be stationed at PenFed Plaza near Shake Shack from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tysons Corner Center is located at 1961 Chain Bridge Road.

The truck’s merchandise will include 10th-anniversary keychains, thermal bottles, mugs, tumblers, T-shirts, blankets, sweatshirts and Hello Kitty Cafe plush toys. Treats will include anniversary cookies, five-piece macaron sets and madeleines.

Sanrio launched the cafe truck in 2014. The trucks have since visited more than 100 U.S. cities, while permanent and pop-up mini cafes have opened in shopping centers around the world since 2016.

The annual Tysons appearance, typically held in the spring, is part of a nationwide tour. Three Maryland stops are scheduled for April before the truck travels to Philadelphia on April 25.

The Tysons visit will come one day before the National Cherry Blossom Festival holds its “Blossom Bash” at the mall’s plaza on Sunday, March 29.
