Visitors can now twist, sniff and design their way through Hershey’s newest interactive attraction at Tysons Corner Center.
Hershey’s Super Sweet Adventure opened Friday, April 24, on the mall’s first level near Macy’s after an earlier delay. The 17,751-square-foot venue combines a storefront selling candy, collectibles and branded merchandise with a ticketed workshop built around Hershey’s confections.
Created by Hershey in partnership with location-based entertainment company Original X Productions, the Tysons attraction is the concept’s second location. The first debuted in Chicago two years earlier.
Inside, guests can create foil artwork for a Hershey Kiss and see the design displayed on a digital screen. Other activities include smelling different Jolly Rancher flavors at the “Flavor Intensification Station” and playing a Connect Four-style game on an oversized board shaped like a peanut butter cup.
The Twizzlers “Twistology Hub” features an optical illusion inside a small passage designed to resemble the equipment used to twist licorice.
The experience ends with each participant receiving a Hershey’s chocolate bar in a custom wrapper bearing their photo.
Weekday tickets start at $19.99, while admission begins at $24.99 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. A private birthday room can accommodate groups of up to 20 people, and full buyouts are available for larger parties.
