A fitness company partnered with “Friends” star Jennifer Aniston is planning its first Northern Virginia studio in Tysons, with another location expected in Arlington.

Pvolve has signed a franchise agreement with Vienna nutritionist Dr. Mona Keshtkaran to open the two studios. The company is still finalizing details, including their addresses.

The Tysons location is intended to serve customers from Vienna, McLean, Great Falls and Falls Church.

Keshtkaran, whose career has focused on health and wellness, became interested in Pvolve while searching for a fitness routine she could recommend to her preventive medicine patients. The company’s method emphasizes low-impact functional movement, strength, longevity and overall well-being.

Entrepreneur Rachel Katzman founded New York City-based Pvolve in 2017 after seeking a less physically draining way to exercise. Aniston discovered its workouts through a friend and became an official partner in 2023.

Pvolve provides in-person workouts as well as on-demand classes and live virtual sessions. It currently has about 21 studios across the United States and Canada, with 50 additional locations planned. A Potomac, Maryland, studio is scheduled to open this year.

The company expects each new studio to generate 10 to 15 local jobs. It has also reached agreements for its first franchises in Chicago and Seattle.

In addition to classes, Pvolve sells specialized fitness equipment, accessories, clothing and a protein supplement, although the drink is currently listed as out of stock online.
