Several family-facing services will move from the Dunn Loring Center to the Pimmit Hills Center this spring as planned renovations prepare the Dunn Loring building to return to use as a school.
The Family Resource Center at Dunn Loring will close Monday, May 4. Student registration appointments will continue there through Friday, May 8, while early childhood testing appointments will remain available at the location through Friday, May 15.
Families should expect temporary changes to locations and schedules during May, but support will continue throughout the transition. After registration appointments end at Dunn Loring, families seeking registration services during the interim may use the Herndon and South County centers.
The relocated Family Resource Center, student registration services and early childhood testing services are scheduled to open at the Pimmit Hills Center on Monday, June 1.
The staggered closing dates are intended to give families time to adjust before all three services begin operating from their new location.
