Fairfax County residents will get a detailed look at the Lee Chapel Road project during an online public information meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2026.

The Fairfax County Department of Transportation and Springfield District Supervisor Pat Herrity will host the virtual session. Officials plan to provide updates on the roadway design, traffic analysis, detour plans and maintenance-of-traffic arrangements during construction.

The presentation will also cover utility work, environmental analysis, the project’s anticipated cost and its current schedule. A question-and-answer period at the end of the meeting will give residents an opportunity to offer feedback and seek additional information.
