Link Logistics has unveiled its final design for an ambitious public park at The Mile in Tysons, featuring extensive recreational amenities for the growing community.

The centerpiece of the plan is a 36,000-square-foot flexible green space that can serve as both a lawn area and athletic field. The design also includes an athletic terrace equipped with two hard-surface courts, providing dedicated space for sports activities.

The final development plan also calls for a cafe with food trucks, a destination playground and a performance plaza with a stage. The hard-surface courts are designed to support activities including futsal, basketball, floor hockey and soccer.

A 10-foot-wide segment of the planned Tysons Community Circuit would run along the southern edge of the park block. Fairfax County envisions that trail eventually forming a 4.75-mile loop through Tysons.

The park is proposed for 7925 Jones Branch Drive on a six-acre site now occupied by a seven-story office building. It would become a major outdoor gathering and recreation space within The Mile’s broader mixed-use redevelopment.
