A new Mediterranean restaurant and bar promising weekend entertainment will open at Capital One Center in late 2026.

La Omri will occupy roughly 7,500 square feet of street-level space across from Capital One Hall. The vacant storefront sits on the ground floor of Capital One’s office building at 7775 Capital One Tower Road, near Sisters Thai.

IRG Concepts, the restaurant group behind Tysons eatery and hookah bar Sir Sandwich, describes La Omri as a hybrid dining and social venue. Its chef-led menu will offer modern takes on regional Mediterranean classics, with an emphasis on premium ingredients, technique and presentation.

A prominent 24-seat bar will serve handcrafted cocktails and a curated wine selection. Weekend programming is expected to shift the restaurant from an upscale dinner setting into a nightlife destination.

Multiple private dining rooms will accommodate executive meetings, corporate functions and special events, positioning the restaurant to serve employees on the Capital One campus as well as other visitors.

Capital One Vice President Erin Mical said La Omri’s dining, design and programming would strengthen the development’s retail and entertainment offerings.

IRG Concepts founder and CEO Ramzi Iskandar and La Omri executive partner Mike Saadi said Capital One Center’s combination of offices and entertainment helped attract the new concept.

“Tysons continues to establish itself as one of the region’s most dynamic and evolving markets,” Saadi said. “We are excited to introduce La Omri at Capital One Center and look forward to contributing to the area’s growing dining and hospitality landscape.”

IRG Concepts operates seven brands across the Washington region. Along with Sir Sandwich at 8496 Tyco Road B, its restaurants include Burger 7, which has a location at Idylwood Plaza. The company’s recent openings include Villa Yara in Georgetown and Caramella Cafe, which debuted at Parc City Centre in Sterling early this year.

La Omri will add to a growing collection of restaurants at Capital One’s headquarters campus, including Sisters Thai, Stellina Pizzeria, Ometeo, Starr Hill’s brewpub and biergarten, and the Wren and Naisho restaurants inside The Watermark Hotel. Food trucks also serve customers at Perch Putt, the campus’s elevated miniature golf course.

Additional information about hiring and the opening schedule is expected closer to La Omri’s debut.
