Mount Vernon Rec Center Plans Hiring Push for 290-Plus Jobs

The newly renovated Mount Vernon Rec Center is seeking candidates for more than 290 part-time positions before its planned reopening in May 2025.

The newly renovated Mount Vernon Rec Center is seeking candidates for more than 290 part-time positions before its planned reopening in May 2025.

The Fairfax County Park Authority scheduled six open hiring events across February, March and April:

Saturday, Feb. 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Belle View Elementary
Saturday, March 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Belle View Elementary
Sunday, March 23, from noon to 3 p.m. at Martha Washington Library
Wednesday, April 16, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Martha Washington Library
Saturday, April 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Martha Washington Library
Monday, April 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Martha Washington Library

The openings span multiple departments. Applicants can review available positions and apply online through the Mount Vernon Rec Center jobs webpage. Questions may be sent to FCPAJOBS@fairfaxcounty.gov.
