Little Leaves Behavioral Services plans to open autism therapy centers in Chantilly and Tysons this summer, bringing two new programs for young children to Fairfax County.
Each center will have capacity for 24 children between the ages of 1 and 6 who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. The programs use a preschool-like environment to develop communication, social and behavioral skills while promoting independence and readiness for school.
The Chantilly center will be located at 4090 Lafayette Center Drive in an office park near Route 50. The Tysons center is planned for 8133 Leesburg Pike in Vienna, at the intersection of Leesburg Pike and Gallows Road.
Buildout plans for the Tysons location were submitted to Fairfax County in early March. County records show that the center is expected to occupy a 5,960-square-foot suite on the building’s first floor. Other tenants include Olive Garden and United Dental Group.
Little Leaves also plans to open centers this summer at 11459 Cronhill Drive in Owings Mills and 12 Irondale Street in White Marsh’s Middle River area.
The company currently operates 14 locations, primarily across the Washington region, including centers in Reston and Alexandria, as well as in Florida. It aims to expand to 25 centers over the next five years.
