Fairfax County police have released a composite sketch of a man suspected of entering at least four Centreville homes while naked during a series of burglary and indecent exposure incidents.
The incidents began during the weekend of March 5. In one case, the man entered a bedroom in the 14800 block of Bodley Square while a resident was preparing for work in the early morning. He fled after being confronted.
Around 5:30 a.m. March 6, a resident in the 14800 block of Leicester Court found a footprint on a trash can that had been moved against a fence. Investigators believe the can was used to climb into the backyard and found evidence of an attempted burglary.
At about 3:30 a.m. March 8, a resident in the 6300 block of Paddington Lane heard footsteps in the hallway and saw a nude person standing in a doorway. The intruder then ran away.
Investigators believe the same man was involved in the related incidents. In each case, he apparently entered through an unsecured door.
The suspect is described as a Black man with a light or medium complexion, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and of average build.
