Peppa Pig is moving into Tysons Corner Center, where Camp will debut a 5,000-square-foot interactive experience on July 25.
The limited-time attraction replaces Camp’s “Encanto” experience and centers on Peppa preparing a party for her new baby sister, Evie. After its Tysons run, the installation is expected to move to one of Camp’s eight other stores.
Visitors will begin with a ride on Miss Rabbit’s Train before entering a playground featuring slides and a racing track. Other activities include helping George find a missing present at Dinosaur Park, exploring a treehouse, jumping in “muddy puddles” and completing crafts.
Camp CEO Jenica Myszkowski said the collaboration gives the company an opportunity to introduce Baby Evie, the Pig family’s newest arrival, to fans of the children’s television series.
Founded in 2018 by former BuzzFeed marketing chief Ben Kaufman, Camp opened at Tysons Corner Center in December 2023. The retailer sells toys, books and children’s gifts while hosting themed attractions behind its “magic door.”
During the Peppa Pig experience, the store will carry related Lego sets, kickballs, play sets, dolls and other Hasbro merchandise. Hasbro has owned the television franchise since 2019.
Tickets start at $29 and are available online or at Camp, located on the mall’s first floor near the recently reopened Barnes & Noble.
More changes coming to Tysons Corner Center
The mall is also preparing for a wave of new stores, restaurants and entertainment options.
Kizik, a slip-on footwear company, is advertising a summer 2025 opening on the second floor beside Sunglass Hut. Vietnamese restaurant The Clay Bowl is scheduled to join the third-floor food court in the fall.
Skims, Kim Kardashian’s lingerie brand, plans to open its second storefront in the fall after launching a Georgetown location in June 2024. It will occupy the space temporarily used by Shotted.
British bedmaker Vispring is planning what appears to be its first Washington-area showroom on the first floor near Nordstrom this fall. Cole Haan will open beside Coach during the same season.
The Escape Game, an escape-room business that began in Nashville, Tennessee, is expected to open next to Barnes & Noble this winter.
Several additional tenants have announced openings without firm dates. Pakistani fashion brand Ethnc is coming next to Khaadi, women’s clothing retailer Edikted is headed beside Cole Haan, and ear-piercing studio Studs will open on the second floor near Nordstrom.
Previously announced additions still in development include Chip City Cookies, Reformation, Bora Bora Smoothie and Level 99. Construction is also underway on Maggiano’s, which is expected to move from Tysons Galleria to the east end of Tysons Corner Center in 2026.
Meanwhile, Gap, Under Armour, Uniqlo, Altar’d State, Zara, L’Occitane, Garage and Rolex are relocating within the mall. Except for Altar’d State, those retailers remain open in their current or temporary spaces while construction continues.
