Reston Association members are being urged to vote in the 2025 Board of Directors election, with two open seats and a minimum turnout requirement that will determine whether the election is valid.
The elected directors will help set policies and priorities affecting Reston, including approval of the annual budget and assessments. The board also oversees decisions involving community amenities, sustainability, resilience and other issues tied to residents’ quality of life and property values.
Ballots have been mailed or emailed to every household within the association. Members may vote online or return their ballots by mail, with submissions due by 5 p.m. on March 31.
At least 10% of eligible voters must cast ballots for the election to be considered valid.
Results are scheduled to be announced during the 2025 Annual Members’ Meeting on Tuesday, April 8. All Reston Association members may attend, but registration is required. A reception will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by the meeting at 7 p.m.
