A partial roof collapse complicated efforts to extinguish a house fire Wednesday morning in the 3100 block of Holmes Run Road in West Falls Church.
Firefighters arrived to find flames engulfing the roof of the two-story, single-family home. One person was evaluated for injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Virginia Attorney General Jay Jones is urging Congress to require refunds for billions of dollars in tariffs imposed under President Donald Trump. Jones argues that businesses and consumers should be repaid quickly after the nation’s highest court struck down the policy.
