Two New Hot Spots Are Opening at The Boro in Tysons

The Boro will welcome an Egyptian street-food restaurant and an interactive game-show venue to Tysons with two grand-opening events in March.

The Boro will welcome an Egyptian street-food restaurant and an interactive game-show venue to Tysons with two grand-opening events in March.

Fava Pot will hold an open house from noon to 6 p.m. Monday, March 23, at 1624 Boro Place in McLean. The celebration will include complimentary tastings.

Founder Dina Daniel launched the award-winning Egyptian food concept as a single Tysons food truck in 2013. It has since developed into a regional brand centered on family recipes, cooking from scratch and mentorship.

Game Show Battle Rooms will celebrate its debut with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and live demonstrations at 11 a.m. Friday, March 27. The venue is at 1640 Boro Place, Suite 208, in McLean.

The live-hosted attraction puts teams through quick-moving challenges modeled after television game shows. It is designed for corporate functions, celebrations and other group gatherings.

Both events will be open to community members and the media.

The openings follow the arrival of NOVA Plastic Surgery & Dermatology and announcements that TileBar and California Closets are joining The Boro. The 3.5-million-square-foot, transit-oriented development now has a mix of more than 40 retailers alongside residential and office space.
