Tysons Dog Festival Returns With Foam, Treats and Adoptable Pups

Tysons Corner Center will turn PenFed Plaza into a playground for dogs and their owners when Paws on the Plaza returns June 6.

Tysons Corner Center will turn PenFed Plaza into a playground for dogs and their owners when Paws on the Plaza returns June 6.

The pet-friendly event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 7901 Tysons One Place in McLean. Admission details were not provided.

Dogs can cool off in a splash zone, explore a park area and join a foam party designed specifically for them. An automatic “Treat Machine” will dispense snacks, while canine caricature art, giveaways and other pet-focused activities will be available.

Woofie’s McLean will offer complimentary nail trims. Local rescue organizations will also bring adoptable dogs for meet-and-greets.

Scheduled vendors and organizations include Bark & Boarding, Bellani Pets, Dyson, Homeward Trails, Impact Over Money Companions, Isy’s Ways, Paw Mind Body, Pet Wants, Puppy Pawtique, Sassy Woof, St. Rocos Treat Shop, VCA Southpaws, Wooftrap Animal Rescue and Woofie’s McLean.

PenFed Credit Union is presenting the event. PenFed members can receive exclusive VIP gifts while supplies last.
