A driver traveling the wrong way in the reversible I-395 Express Lanes collided with a Virginia State Police cruiser and another vehicle in Alexandria on July 10, according to state police.
The incident began at 7:37 p.m., when Virginia State Police received a report of a vehicle traveling northbound in the wrong direction on I-95 in Prince William County. The reversible lanes were operating southbound at the time.
