Joan Reimann’s experience with relocation began early. Growing up in a military family, she moved 11 times and attended 10 schools, an upbringing she credits with teaching her adaptability, relationship-building and optimism.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the American College of Greece, Reimann spent two decades working in public relations and marketing. Her career included projects in the United States, Germany, Pakistan and Singapore before she settled in Northern Virginia.

Reimann entered real estate and was recognized as a Rookie of the Year in 2013. She has since built a business largely through referrals, repeat transactions and word of mouth, with a particular focus on Oakton, Oak Hill and surrounding Northern Virginia communities.

Now affiliated with Corcoran McEnearney in McLean, Reimann works with buyers and sellers across the Washington metropolitan area. Her specialties include luxury estates, investment properties, senior transitions, military and relocation services, and 1031 exchanges.

She is licensed in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. Her professional credentials include Accredited Staging Professional, Seniors Real Estate Specialist, Military Residential Specialist and Certified Relocation Specialist.

Staging is a significant part of Reimann’s approach to selling homes. Her brokerage also offers property management, relocation assistance and a Signature Services program that can provide pre-sale renovations and staging intended to improve a property’s market position.

Her familiarity with frequent moves shapes much of her work with military, diplomatic and relocating families. As someone who also lived abroad as a diplomatic spouse, Reimann brings personal experience to clients navigating permanent-change-of-station moves and other major transitions.

Reimann’s industry recognition includes annual appearances from 2017 through 2024 on lists of leading real estate agents and producers published by Washingtonian and Northern Virginia Magazine. She was also named an NVAR Multi-Million Dollar Club Top Producer annually from 2014 through 2024.

RealTrends ranked her among the top 1.5% of U.S. agents for 2021 and 2022 and the top 1% for 2023 and 2024. Her additional honors include Washingtonian Elite Platinum Top Producer recognition in 2022, 2023 and 2024, as well as Lifetime Top Producer recognition in 2023 and 2024.

Client testimonials highlight Reimann’s coordination of contractors, repairs, moving services and staging, particularly for owners managing sales from outside the area. Other clients have cited her market knowledge, direct feedback and attention throughout repeat purchases and sales. Her Zillow profile carries a 5.0 rating based on 29 reviews.

Reimann remains closely connected to Oakton, Oak Hill, Vienna and the broader Northern Virginia area. She says her work is less about individual property transactions than helping clients manage the life changes that often accompany a move.
