Vienna Inn is celebrating 66 years in business with a February lineup of family events, food and drink specials, fundraisers, contests and giveaways.
The longtime Vienna restaurant traces its roots to 1960, when it was founded by the Abraham family. Marty Volk, who took ownership in 2000, called the anniversary “an incredible milestone” and thanked customers and the Vienna community for decades of support.
As the town has changed, Vienna Inn has remained known for its chili dogs and longstanding customs. Those traditions include an honor system at the register, self-service drink stations and displays of memorabilia from local sports teams the restaurant has supported.
The anniversary schedule includes kids’ nights featuring special menus, activities and giveaways. Carryout specials will offer game-day favorites ahead of the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 8.
Weekly “What’s on Tap” tastings will highlight customer favorites alongside raffles and giveaways. The restaurant also plans Olympic viewing events with specials tied to gold-medal moments.
On Saturday, Feb. 14, Vienna Inn will serve a Valentine’s Day menu for children under 12, accompanied by a themed gift. A separate treat will recognize mothers.
Fundraising events will benefit local organizations, while contests and promotions in the restaurant and on social media will reward customers. Specific event and special details will be announced through Vienna Inn’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.
